I routinely deal with GIT, CI/CD, Docker, JIRA, Confluence, as well as other tools to work efficiently on a daily basis. I'm also no stranger to testing, whether e2e (Cypress) or unit tests (vitest, jest).
I like to learn new things, to educate myself, I am a team player and an extrovert in a team. I love good colleagues in the office, but I get along with remote work as well. Throughout my career, I have also had the opportunity to mentor colleagues or be an ambassador for various projects. Because everything I enjoy, I do with passion!

Hi! It's me
Hello! My name is Jakub and I am (as you have probably already figured out) a senior frontend developer. I was born in Rajec, a small town near Žilina, in 1991. I currently live in Žilina, where my wife and I moved. In addition to my wife, I also have a son who (originally) has the same name as me.
My big hobbies include programming and music; I actively play the drums. I also really enjoy photography, and I have about five different lenses, but due to my parental responsibilities, they sit in the corner gathering dust.
Development
I have been involved in development for more than 12 years. I have held many positions, whether as a FullStack developer, a developer in CMS WordPress, or focusing on frontend.
My beginnings were connected with CMS WordPress, where I first worked on my hobby projects, but over time I worked in a studio that shaped several large WordPress projects, and the founder of the studio is one of the best WordPress programmers in our country.
My journey then continued in the world of full stack, where, in addition to WordPress, I started using backend frameworks such as Nette and Laravel. As a full stack developer, I also worked on frontend frameworks. I also worked on backend solutions built on NodeJS and on a communication layer such as GraphQL.
The first framework I worked with was Angular, which was connected to backend frameworks as a UI layer. Later, I switched to Vue, first in version 2, then in version 3 with the transition to Composition API. In addition to Vue, I also worked with the hybrid-apps framework Ionic, in which I created several multi-platform solutions (iOS, Android) both as hobby projects and as solutions used across countries in the corporate world.
What else
In addition to programming, I really enjoy sharing my experience with others. As a senior developer, I believe that sharing experience is an important part of developing young programmers and that access to such experience can shape their career path. I have experienced this approach myself and would therefore like to apply it myself. In addition, I have had the opportunity to be a mentor, which has given me a wealth of experience in leading and developing people.
